Biography

Tianyang “Emily” Han, graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and is active as both a performer and educator in the United Kingdom. She studied at Shenyang Conservatory of Music and in 2014 she moved to England to continue her studies at the Royal Northern College of Music with Professor Graham Scott, where she was awarded the prestigious Lord Rhodes Scholarship and subsequently completed her Master of Music degree.

Tianyang is also dedicated to music education, and currently teaches piano at Cheltenham College and Loughborough Schools Music. She also performs regularly with the Valette Trio and with cellist Yuuki Bouterey-Ishidoat and has been awarded many prestigious prizes. She has also participated in masterclasses with many internationally renowned artists and in festivals in Italy and Switzerland.
