We apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the cancellation of today’s piano recital due to be given by Emily Han. We were only advised shortly before the concert was due to begin that, due to a sudden illness, Emily could not join us. We tried to obtain an alternative musician but, understandably, it was too short notice for our contacts.
We send Emily our best wishes for a speedy recovery and hope that she can deliver the concert next year.
In the mean time we look forward to next week’s concert by the Talland Quartet. Thank you all for your understanding. This is the first time we’ve had to cancel a concert – this was to be our 563rd concert.
